How to Delete Instagram Account Permanently?

Instagram is a social media platform where more youngsters and celebrities are hanging out. Deleting an Instagram account permanently, means you will lose all your data. Your profile, photos, videos, comments, likes and followers will be permanently removed. Remember that if you just want to hide your account or to take a break from Instagram, no need to delete your Instagram account permanently, you can temporarily disable your account instead.

Instagram officials cannot delete an account for security reasons. Only you will be able to delete your Instagram account and for deleting your account you will need to be able to log into your account. Remember, after your account was deleted, you can’t sign up again with the same username or add that username to another account.

Please note that, after 30 days of your account deletion request, your account and all your information will be permanently deleted, and you won’t be able to retrieve your information.

To request the permanent deletion of your account, Follow the 5 steps.

1. Go to the Delete Your Account page from a mobile browser or computer.

If you’re not logged into Instagram on the web, you’ll be asked to log in first.

2.You can’t delete your account from within the Instagram app, so log into Instagram on web.

3. Select an option from the drop down menu next to Why are you deleting your account?

The option to permanently delete your account will only appear after you’ve selected a reason from the menu.

4. Re-enter your password.

5. Click or tap Permanently delete my account.
