Trademark Registration Process

Trademark Search

It is the first step in the trademark registration process. Every entrepreneur must conduct a trademark search before the registration process to ensure the name is available or note taken by others.

Trademark Filing

After trademark search, If the name is available then the application for trademark registration can be filled with trademark registrar within the prescribed manner.

Trademark Application Allotment

After applying for the trademark registration, the applicant will get an application allotment number within 2 working days. Then the owner of that trademark can attach a TM symbol to their logo.

Vienna Codification

After the trademark registration application was filed by the applicant, the trademark registrar will apply for Vienna classification to the mark. It is an international classification of metaphorical elements of the marks.

Trademark Examination

After Vienna codification is completed, the trademark officer in the trademark registrar office will examine/review the trademark registration application and issue a trademark examination report.

Trademark Journal Publication
